About these terms
Occasionally we’ll offer our customers extra discounts on their shopping through a promotional code (a “Promo Code”). These terms set out how our current Promo Codes work.
These terms apply when you use a Promo Code on https://staging.rockbox.co.uk or in our shop (as applicable), and are in addition to our Website Terms of Sale.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Rock Box Records Limited, trading as The Rock Box and The Rock Box Record Store.

Current Promo Codes
Mailing List Sign-Up Code – 15% off your first online order
Sign up to our mailing list and we’ll email you a one-time 15% discount code. It applies to your first online order with a qualifying spend of £50 or more.
What the code applies to: new vinyl, CDs, cassettes, merchandise, books, accessories, and most of our regular catalogue.
What’s not included, and why:
- Gift Vouchers and Record Tokens – these are payment instruments with a fixed cash value, so they can’t be sold at a discount.
- Pre-orders, “Coming Soon” titles and Early Bird offers – these already include a 10% Early Bird discount.
- Sale items – already discounted.
- Record Store Day, Black Friday RSD and National Album Day releases – these are limited-allocation event titles supplied to us at fixed prices.
- Hi-Fi equipment and turntables – sold on tight margins set by the manufacturer.
- Postage – calculated at cost.
A few practical notes:
- Enter the code manually at checkout – we can’t add it to an order that’s already paid.
- It’s a one-time code and can’t be combined with any other voucher or discount.
- Multi-line orders ship when all items are in stock, so check whether anything is on back-order.
- If you cancel items and your remaining spend drops below £50, the discount will be removed.
- We may withdraw or amend this offer at any time without notice. If a code has already been issued to you, it will remain valid for the period stated in the email it was sent in, on the terms in place when it was issued.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will apply to Promo Codes used after the updated terms are posted on our website. Codes already redeemed will be honoured under the terms in place at the time you used them.
