Rather than arriving through traditional streaming channels, ‘A Wave That Will Never Break’ was initially made available exclusively through the band’s L Y F community, where members were invited into a wider world of films, journals, hidden music, listening parties and early access to live events.
The album debuted at No.13 in the Official UK Albums Chart and No.8 in the Independent Albums Chart – a notable achievement for a release shared largely outside of mainstream streaming services and one that demonstrated the strength of the community that has formed around the band’s return.
